Refuse collection

Please note that you have to purchase your own bin, unless one has been left at your property by the vendor. General household refuse is collected on Mondays. Recycling (green bin with blue lid) is carried out fortnightly on Mondays.

Brown bins are for garden waste only. They are emptied fortnightly on Tuesdays. This service has to be paid for.

For local information try www.arun.gov.uk. Click on ‘useful links’, ‘parish and town councils’, ‘East Preston Parish Council’, ‘ local information’ and then ‘Arun organisations’. This gives information re local clubs, library, East Preston schools etc.

Don’t forget to ask your neighbours. It is a good way of getting to know other residents on the Estate.
